An Art-riffic Day!

I love love love seeing Saloni and Sohan get right into arts and crafts. Saloni's imagination is amazing. From turning toilet paper rolls into microphones or scraps of paper into works of art, she makes getting through a long day easy. And Sohan, well he likes to get right "onto" his interests too!

The Red Rose Ball

Okay, so as you know, any chance to get dressed up gets me quite giddy. I mean after all, when you are always chasing crumbs, food bits, dust and whatever else enters the home with two kids, you can't wait to feel glamorous every now and then. So when our dear friends Rahul and Sujata asked us to join them at the Red Rose Ball, we didn't blink. A Friday night out, a good cause and fun with friends? We're there!

A Zoorific Day

The zoo is a place that fascincates and saddens me at the same time. It's wonderful that they've brought animals from all over the world for us to see and learn about, but they always look so bored and caged in. Who can blame them? But on our trip this time to the Jacksonville Zoo, I was happy to get some great photos while the kiddos had fun. Even though I felt for these amazing creatures who would much prefer being in their own habitat, they were doing "good" by being here for visitors like us.
